Explore Purdue Hillel
In addition to our regular program of social, cultural, educational and religious activities, we sponsor several clubs in which students can get involved. Purdue Hillel Student Board, FYSH (First Year Students ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ), GAPP (Graduates and Professionals at Purdue), ICAP (Israel Council at Purdue) and Jewish Greek life with Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity and Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity. Every Friday Hillel offers Shabbat services at 6:00 p.m. with a Shabbat Dinner to follow at 7 PM. Services are student-led so they may vary from week to week. Depending on interest, Hillel also offers Shabbat morning services several times a semester. Holiday religious services and meals are also offered when students are on campus. Kosher Dining
Purdue Dining currently offers a Kosher Meal Plan for lunch and dinner through the Purple Diamond Meal plan. The meals are Glatt Kosher, OU pre-plated meals that are served at Earhart and Ford dining. This is available for students who hold a University Residences meal plan. Students may opt in contacting [email protected]. These are meat Kosher meals, not vegetarian Kosher meals. More information can be found at https://dining.purdue.edu/Allergies-Nutrition/Vegetarian.html. Kosher for Passover is offered through Purdue Dining for every lunch and dinner during the week of Passover EXCEPT during evenings of Seders (first and second night) and Shabbat dinners on Friday nights. Students with meal plans may opt in prior to Pesach with the university, and students who do not have meal plans may purchase one for the week if they would like. Frozen Glatt Kosher Meals are available at the Third Street Market for purchase year round.
